Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Honor Walters Group Local Builder Recognized as a Community Partner
MANAHAWKIN, N.J.,– Sept. 29, 2015 – The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore honored Walters Group for their contribution to the community at a Women of Achievement & Community Partners cocktail reception held on Sept. 16th at Element Restaurant & Bar. “Walters Group is committed to supporting local organizations such as the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, who continuously works to better our community,” said Ed Walters, Jr., president and founder of Walters Group who accepted the award.
During the reception, the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore paid tribute to honorees that embody leadership qualities and are dedicated to supporting their community. The Walters Group and Tuckerton Seaport were both recognized as Community Partners. The Hon. Susan R. Marshall, Mayor of Tuckerton, and Lori Pepenella, Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, were honored as Women of Achievement.
